CRITICALLY-ACCLAIMED COUNTRY ARTIST AUBRIE SELLERS TAKES THE RUNWAY FOR A NEW YORK FASHION WEEK PERFORMANCE

Nashville, TN – (February 15, 2017) – Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville artist Aubrie Sellers takes her “garage country” style of music to New York Fashion Week with a performance at this year’s Vivienne Hu Show. The show opened with her electric guitar laden, tough girl anthem “Paper Doll” and the models walked the catwalk to other New City Blues tracks including a performance by Sellers of “Living Is Killing Me." Sellers’ unique style within the country format has caught the attention of the fashion industry snagging invitations to high profile shows filling her calendar including Jeremy Scott, Valentino's Red Dress Collection, Nicole Miller, Namilia, Francesca Liberatore and others.

Capping a busy week in New York, Sellers will make a guest appearance on SiriusXM’s “Debatable” this Friday, Feb 17, hosted by legendary MTV VJ Mark Goodman and former Spin and Vibe editor Alan Light. That same evening, she will join The Cadillac Three at New York’s Irving Plaza. She picks back up for Miranda Lambert’s 2017 Highway Vagabond Tour next week, where at a recent stop in Evansville the Courier & Press exclaimed, “Let's just take a minute to talk about the powerhouse that Aubrie Sellers is.”

Named “one of Nashville’s most electric acts,” by Garden & Gun and “Country’s next big star” by Nylon, Sellers has sought to blend the raw immediacy of garage rock into the classic song structure of country. Described by The New York Times as putting “Southern-rock muscle behind her gentle voice,” Sellers continues to walk the razor-edged line between punk’s combustibility and Johnny Cash’s frenetic pulse.

She blends the raw immediacy of garage rock into the classic song structure of country with Entertainment Weekly applauding her ability to “deliver a lyric in such a way that builds a whole universe.”

New City Blues is available everywhere now via Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville while Sellers continues to show us all “how sweet it sounds to break the rules,” (Rolling Stone).
